I don't smoke, but I (see myself as) a budding videogame designer... And I've seen these road blocks.
* You start producing a game.
* You're having fun with it at first. Learning new things, facing new challenges
* That is... Until you reach a point.
* It could be a bug that you just can't fix. It could be life getting in the way. It could even just be... Motivation.
* You either stick with it, and suffer... Or you abandon it. Excuse it with anything to just put it off.
* Then the cycle resets... You start having fun with the project again, or head onto the next.
I've been working on a project... "Vs Bones". I've suffered and strived. I've succeeded and failed.
...While this may seem all negative, I strangely love it. I love working on "Vs Bones" when I do get the motivation. It is suffering, yes. But when you finally break through that block. The euphoria is honestly worth it in the end.
...Sorry this was kind of rant-ish, felt like I had to let it out.
TLDR: Videogame design can be suffering, and I love it. Love this game too, even if its a walking simulator (/silly)
also its totally normal to feel ur not good enough or who would find my work interesting? its bec we are all different ،have diff interests what brought us here to play this game man u should keep it up fr dont be unpatient it could take years to reach wht u really want but at the end the results will be satisfying asf
Bro, wtf. I just smoked a few minutes ago because I was stressed about my work keeping me up late (it’s 12 a.m. here), and then suddenly this game showed up. After playing it, I realized…
And maybe I should try to quit smoking for a month or a few months.
Hey, I wanted you to know that I've been a fan of your works. Your games have a great style, great story and an artistic way of telling it. Keep up the good work!
